The IASF is excited to launch a NEW club rostering portal for the 2026 Cheerleading & Dance Worlds, and for future qualifying events. The process will be different from past years with the goal of enabling a smoother process for gym’s with multiple teams and a streamlined roster verification check qualifying event and Worlds rosters.

  • Each club will have a dedicated login
    • Club will be able to invite coaches to complete their profile and upload their background checks and credentials
    • Program admin can attach coaches to multiple teams
    • Program admin can edit Worlds rosters until the documentation deadline of April 4th – system will auto verify between qualifying event/Worlds roster & athlete age
    • Digital ID cards will be delivered directly from the rostering system to the coach email on file

After completing the team registration through MyVarsity an IASF Worlds representative will reach out with login details for your club. Stay tuned for additional details .

After you submit the Roster Verification Form, a Worlds representative will reach out to approve your submission or advise you of missing documentation. The representative will also confirm your roster appointment day and time at Worlds.

  • You will meet with a Worlds Official for 30 min in Orlando, FL. to sign and turn in your FINAL printed TEAM ROSTER, signed COMPLIANCE SHEET, ensure all documentation is in order, and receive your Coach ID card.
  • Do all coaches for the team need to come at the same time?
  • No, although coaches arriving outside of their assigned appointment may have a lengthy wait
  • The team appointment and documentation approval must be complete before ANY coaches lanyards and ID cards are released.

What do I need to bring?

  • Copy of your PRINTED IASF Roster (NOT DOUBLE SIDED) (click here for template)

Teams participating in IASF division (non-US teams) must complete the roster verification and safeguarding process in order to be eligible to participate at The 2026 Cheerleading and Dance Worlds.

What is Roster Verification & Safeguarding?

  • The IASF will review rosters to determine eligibility according to the rostering guidelines specific to your region. All documentation including coach credentials, entourage background checks, coach/entourage headshots, music verification form, contact information etc., is collected separately from your registration for the event.

Why?

  • Safeguarding to protect athletes
  • Credentialing requirement to elevate the level of education of coaches guiding athletes at the Worlds event
  • Fair play – roster guidelines help manage recruitment and fair play guidelines
  • To catch problems BEFORE the Worlds event

DOCUMENTS REQUIRED

  • Headshots for all coaches
    • Must be on a white background, straight on, no sunglasses/hats, chest or higher ONLY, shirts must be worn. Inappropriate photos will be denied

  • Each team may have a maximum of five persons listed to accompany the team into warm-ups, with an additional two persons holding official sport federation credentials.

  • Email cheer.rules@iasfworlds.net.

  • Open rehearsal times are available at Coronado on: TBD
  • Rehearsal times may be booked after the completion of your roster verification form.

What scoring is utilized at the Cheerleading Worlds for IASF divisions?

The IASF in season score sheet and range requirements are also utilized in IASF divisions at The Cheerleading Worlds, with the exception of the Point Deduction system. At The Cheerleading Worlds the “Skill Performed Out of Level” (-1.0 pt) deduction is not in play, rule infractions for Levels 1-7 will have the Legality Infraction point deduction (-4.0 pt) applied. All documents and reference sheets are available here.
